What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. We use them to make the website work (e.g. to keep your session while booking), to remember your cookie choice and – only with your consent – to measure traffic and to display an embedded Google map. The same applies to similar technologies, such as browser storage (localStorage).
Legal basis, consent and withdrawal
Technical cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the functioning and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storing them does not require consent (Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications).
All other cookies (statistics, marketing and third-party content) are stored solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give in the cookie settings bar. Until you consent, these cookies are not stored and the related services are not loaded.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it – by clicking the button below or the “Cookie settings” tab at the edge of the page. After withdrawal we stop using the cookies concerned; cookies already stored can be deleted in your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. We will ask for your consent again after 12 months at the latest, or whenever the list of cookies changes.

1. Technical (strictly necessary) – no consent required
These ensure the basic functioning of the website and store your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off; without them the website would not work properly.

2. Preferences – with consent
Cookies that remember your choices between visits (e.g. language). We currently do not use any preference cookies – the selected language is part of the page address. If we start using them, we will update this page and ask for your consent.
3. Statistics (analytics) – with consent
These help us understand how visitors use the website so that we can improve it. We use two tools:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Measures traffic and behaviour on the website; IP addresses are anonymised. Without your consent no Google Analytics cookies are stored – in that case the tool only sends aggregated signals without cookies or visitor identifiers (Google Consent Mode). - Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Records anonymised session replays and heatmaps (clicks, scrolling) so that we can see how the website is used; text typed into forms is masked. Clarity is loaded only after you give consent. 4. Marketing and third-party content – with consent
We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies (Facebook, Google Ads, Sklik etc.) on this website. This category covers the embedded Google map (Google Maps) on the home page and on the pages with trip tips. The map is loaded only after you give consent; until then a placeholder text is shown in its place. - Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft Clarity), One Microsoft Place, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland – parent company Microsoft Corporation, USA.
Data may be transferred to the United States of America. Both Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on 10 July 2023; in addition, the EU standard contractual clauses are in place.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete or block stored cookies at any time in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge – usually under “Privacy” or “History”). Blocking technical cookies may limit the functionality of the website, for example the booking form. Browser settings are only an additional option – your cookie consent on this website is managed primarily with the “Open cookie settings” button above.
